Tummy Yummy is a nice and private restaurant serving Thai food, which is situated about 300 meters down in Soi Tonson, Bangkok. It is a house-converted restaurant, giving a feeling of house during 50 years ago. Tummy Yummy also has garden seats for those who prefer a more romantic setting. One thing to note is that if you drive, it may be difficult to find a parking space but it is within a few minutes walk from Chidlom BTS station. Tummy Yummy can accommodate comfortably around 30 people at the same time.

As for the start, I had Tummy Yummy Roll (ปอเปี๊ยะทอดยำมี่ตำมี่) and Kra Bong (กระบอง). Tummy Yummy Roll was just an ordinary spring roll but well crisp. It was not oil which was good, but ordinary dish in fact (6/10). Kra Bong was fried pumpkin strips with batter. It also contained taste of curry (4/10).

Next was Rad Nar Seafood (ราดหน้ากรอบทะเล). I was rather disappointed with this dish. The rice noodle was not crisp. Taste was light. Baby corn did not go well with the dish at all (2/10).

Kang Phet Ped Yang (แกงเผ็ดเป็ดย่าง) here was rather strong and spicy. It contained less coconut milk than other places. But duck meat was tender (4/10).

Crab Claw Noodles (บะหมี่ก้ามปูผัดพริกไทยดำ) tasted more like a Chinese dish. It had a strong scent of black pepper. Let down by quality of crab (4/10).

Coconut Ice-cream with Mango, and with Strawberry Jelly were the choice of our dessert. Jelly was basic and thin. However, mango went well with ice-cream. Ice-cream was creamy but a little too sweet, could be better (3/10).

Tummy Yummy may not worth a journey to visit for tasting purpose but it is sure a great place for those who love privacy. Nice garden seats are as well suitable for hanging out with friends. A lot of improvement for this Thai restaurant to be followed indeed.
