BonChon Chicken, an American franchise, is situated on the second floor of SeenSpace at Soi Thonglor 13 (right next to Thonkrueng Restaurant). BonChon at Thonglor is a Pub&Restaurant style serving variety of drinks, including soju and makkoli, to couple with Korean style fried chicken. The restaurant can accommodate around 50 people.
Yogurt Soju was a good blend indeed. The sweet taste of yogurt made soju much easier to be drunk. It was served cold. Enjoyment it must be (6/10).

Vegetable parts of the meal were BonChon Chicken Salad and Spicy Seaweed Salad. For BonChon Chicken Salad, both chicken and vegetable were not crisp enough and it was soaked with dressing. The dressing tastes rather sweet and lightly creamy, similar to Cesar dressing (3/10). When it came to Spicy Seaweed Salad, the dressing was just like its name "Spicy" but not really strong. Again, I was disappointed by the quality of vegetable which was not fresh (3/10).

Next was BonChon Potsticker (Soy Garlic Flavour). This was just an ordinary Gyoza. It was deep fried, which resulted in crispiness. The strong flavour of soy sauce could be appreciated. However, it was too oily (4/10).

Last inline was BonChon Combo (wings & drumsticks). This is the signature dish of BonChon, in which it is famous for its crispiness and juiciness of fried chicken. Of course, it was crispy and juicy but oily. The Soy Garlic flavour and Hot flavour were not much difference but just spiciness that distinguished them. I could not find what quality it has that is much better than hot&spicy wings where else apart from crispiness. One more point was it was not really well marinated give tasteless of meat: i.e. flavour mostly on skin (3/10).

From my perspective, fried chicken at BonChon tastes similar to those wings of Pizza Hut and KFC. In case there is KFC next to BonChon, I would doubt whether to choose KFC or BonChon. The style of this restaurant would better suit those who seek for a trendy meal and having drinks with friends. However, price is also dearly high comparing to quality of food being served. Another disappointments were the quality of services which was rather poor. Personally, there would not be a chance for my return to BonChon Thonglor unless it is a compulsory meal with friends. On the bright side, there are rooms to improve for this place.

Wow, what a disappointment! I wanted to try Bonchon in Bangkok, but doesn't sound like it's comparable to the ones in NYC. Thanks for the heads up.
